Terms & Conditions

Bookings are for a maximum of six occupants per unit. Bookings will not be accepted where the majority of the party are under 25 years of age. We do not accept group bookings whether single sex groups or mixed couples. You are responsible for checking the details on your confirmation form. Contact the reception immediately if any details are incorrect. Changes to your booked holiday will incur an administration fee of £7.50. A booking is not confirmed until a deposit has been received. All payments are taken through a secure gateway.

In the unlikely event of there being a problem or dissatisfaction with any matters under our control please report to us immediately so that we have the opportunity where possible to rectify issues. We cannot accept liability in relation to any claim of whatever nature if you fail to notify us in writing within seven days from the end of your holiday.

Cancellations and deposits. Deposits, Booking Fees, Cancellation Premiums and the Pitch Request Fees are non-refundable. You may be charged for the full dates booked if we have not received in writing at least 28 days before arrival notice of any alterations or the need for cancellation. As deposits are non-refundable and no refunds will be given if you choose to depart prior to the end of your booked holiday we strongly advise you to arrange your own holiday insurance.

Vehicles may be parked next to units although only one vehicle may be parked on each pitch at any time with extra vehicles parking on the other designated parking areas as directed by Reception. All vehicles must display a valid car pass. Commercial vehicles will not be admitted to the park. No car washing or repairs. You are required to observe the 5mph limit around the park. All vehicles and units must be clean, fully maintained and in a roadworthy condition.

Dogs are welcome at the owners discretion. You must notify us of the breed of dog when booking. Dogs must be kept on a short lead and under control at all times. Owners are required to pick up after their dogs. If you fail to pick up after your dog/s you will be asked to leave the park. Unfortunately dogs are not permitted in any of the park buildings. Assistance dogs should be clearly identifiable at all times and proof of assistance dog status will need to be shown on arrival. We reserve the right to ask the owner of any dog which causes a nuisance or threat to remove it immediately. We cannot accept any dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act and any breed must be agreed before being allowed onto the park. Maximum of 3 dogs per unit.

Pitches must be paid for prior to nights stay. Once you have been sited you must not change to another pitch unless by prior arrangement with Reception. Units sited before 9:00am will be charged the previous night's stay. The issued unit label and car pass must be clearly displayed. Pitches are to be vacated by 11:00am on the day of departure. PM stays may be possible but must be pre-arranged with Reception.

Specified Pitches cannot be guaranteed but every effort will be made to meet your request however, specific pitches will not be guaranteed under any circumstances for bookings of less than five nights. If wishing to guarantee a specific pitch or any units wishing to guarantee being sited together will incur a £7.50 non-refundable premium to be added to each individual booking. We reserve the right to change your pitch if required for operational reasons however your pitch request fee will be refunded.

Tent bookings are accepted on the understanding that campers will move their tent on their pitch every seven days to allow the grass time to recover.

BBQs must be raised off the ground.

Washing/rotary lines to be used discretely and removed when not in use.

WIFI Access. Wifi is purchasable online and the service is to be used at your own risk. The user is bound by UK law and Widdicombe Farm accepts no responsibility for any loss or corruption of data or damage to equipment. Visitors are welcome between 10:00am and 10:00pm only by prior arrangement with Reception. In order to comply with Planning and Health and Safety Regulations all visitors must register with Reception however short their stay. Reception will direct them to an appropriate parking location. We are unable to permit visitors with dogs and as an adults only park visitors with children will not be given admittance.

Consideration to other park guests should be shown by keeping noise to an acceptable level at all times, but particularly between 11:30pm and 08:00am and when leaving Gordon's Bar. Radios, TVs, etc should be audible to you but not to your neighbours.

Facilities and services may not be available low season. Please check with Reception to avoid disappointment. The owner reserves the right to withdraw the facilities at anytime without notice.

Park Terms and Conditions are for the benefit of all and we reserve the right to refuse admittance or to terminate your visit without refund of monies paid, of any person whose conduct is detrimental to Widdicombe Farm or other guests. The park owners shall not be liable to any person visiting the park for any personal injury, loss or damage to property including motorised vehicles however caused or sustained.

Data Protection. The information supplied is stored on computer for the purposes of future bookings with us or for the distribution of our advertising material to you and under no circumstances will be passed on to a third party. Please see our Privacy Policy page on our website for full details.

Holiday Cancellation Plan offered by Widdicombe Farm Touring caravans and motorhomes
Cover Provided for Bookings of 7 Nights or more - We guarantee the payment protects you up to and including 7 days before your holiday commences against loss of monies already paid to Widdicombe Farm (excluding the holiday cancellation premium, pitch request fee and the booking fee) due to accident, injury, illness* or death of any member of your party or close relation (supporting evidence e.g. Doctors Certificate, Redundancy Notice is required).

Payment required at the time of booking - Touring caravan/Motorhome cancellation fee is £2.00 per night. Cancellation plan is only offered if taken out at the time of booking, for holidays of 7 nights or more and where the arrival date is not within 30 days of making the booking.

* Excludes epidemic/pandemic situations.
