COVID-19

Q. What do I do if I develop symptoms of Covid-19 during my stay?
If you or any members of your party develop symptoms of covid-19 whilst on the park you must return to your accommodation immediately. Please notify Reception by calling 01803 558325 (Do not come to Reception). You will be asked to return to your home address as soon as it is safe for you to do so in order to keep safe all our other guests and our staff. For medical advice call NHS 111.
Q. I have a touring pitch booked; do I need to be able to self-contain?
We have plenty of semi-serviced, full serviced and premium pitches which make self-containing so much easier and safer. Hand sanitiser is also situated at all the communal points for you to use before and after using the area.

GENERAL

Q. When is the park open?
The park is open April to Mid-October.
Q. What is the policy on dogs?
We accept dogs on the park at the owner’s discretion. There is a maximum of 3 dogs per unit on touring pitches or 2 small dogs in our static holiday caravans. We cannot permit dogs (with exception of assistance dogs) into any of the amenity buildings. However, we do have some dog friendly designated seating inside the restaurant.
Q. Do you have WiFi on the park?
Wifi is available throughout the park provided by Skylight Broadband. You can contact them www.skylightbroadband.com for information about their services and charges.
Q. Do we need tokens for the showers?
No, you don’t need tokens as all the toilet/shower facilities are included.
Q. Do you have a laundry on site?
Yes, we have coin operated washing machines, a spinner and tumble dryers should you need to catch up on your laundry whilst away.
Q. Can we have a BBQ
There is no problem having a BBQ on your pitch all we ask is that you raise the BBQ above the ground so that you do not burn/scorch the grass. Please ask reception for details of the location point for the safe disposal of your cold ashes.
Q. Are we allowed to have visitors when staying with you?
Visitors can come to see you whilst you are with us but no matter how short their stay they must report to reception to book in, receive a car pass and advice on parking areas.  Visitors are permitted between 10am and 10pm by prior arrangement only. The safety and security of all our guests is important to us and we have a duty to know exactly who is on the park at any time. We do not permit visitors with dogs and as an adult only park, we are unable to allow visitors with children.
Q. Can I put up a washing line?
Yes, you can put out a free-standing washing line, but we ask that you remove it once you’ve finished drying your clothes. Nobody wants to look at their neighbours washing all day and all evening whilst siting outside enjoying a relaxing holiday do they? We would not permit washing lines strung between trees/hedges and you would be asked to remove it immediately.
Q. Where is the nearest supermarket?
We have a small shop within our reception selling very basic essentials. The nearest supermarket is half a mile from the park and they also have a cash machine outside. However, for a more personalised service there is a farm shop closer to the park for those of you who prefer the truly local produce and experience. All details and directions can be obtained from our Receptionists on arrival.

MY BOOKING

Q. Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a deposit will be required to secure the booking. Payments are taken using a secure payment gateway.
Q. When is the balance due?
Touring pitch balances are due on arrival however, static holiday caravan balances are due at least 28 days prior to arrival. Bookings made within 10 days of arrival will be required to pay the full balance at the time of booking.
Q. How do I pay?
Payments can be made in person, over the telephone or via our online booking system. We accept card or cash. All payments made by card are taken via a secure payment gateway.
Q. Can I book more than one pitch or holiday caravan?
We need each pitch or holiday caravan booking to be made in the name of the lead member of that party and therefore need the individual details for each booking.
Q. I’ve been before and/or know exactly where I want to be can I request a specific pitch or location?
Guaranteeing a specific pitch/location or requesting to be sited next to someone else in your group is possible on bookings of 5 nights or more by paying a £10 request fee per individual booking at the time of booking. Although it is of course dependent on availability at the time of booking. We will then endeavour to meet your request but reserve the right to change your pitch/location for operational reasons however should this be the case we would refund the request fee.
Q. I need to change some details on my booked holiday what should I do?
As soon as you know something needs to change on your existing booking please contact Reception immediately on 01803 558325 as it could impact on where you have been sited or our ability to honour a booking. Changes made after 14 days of booking will incur a £20.00 admin fee. Changes can only be made for your own booking and not on behalf of friends or relations on group bookings.  Should changes need to be made on a group of bookings then we need to hear from the lead person named on the individual bookings to comply with GDPR Regulations and protect your data.
Q. I cannot find my confirmation document. What should I do?
That is ok just contact Reception on 01803 558325 or email info@widdicombefarm.co.uk and ask for a replacement confirmation to be sent out. Please give us the name that the booking was made under, address and postcode as it makes it easier for us to find your original details.
