Static Holiday Caravan Terms & Conditions

Bookings

1. Bookings are for a maximum of 4 occupants per unit. Bookings will not be accepted where the majority of the party are under 25 years of age or group bookings whether single sex groups or mixed couples.

2. You are responsible for checking the details on the confirmation form. Please contact reception immediately if any details are incorrect. Changes to your booked holiday after 14 days will incur an administration fee of £20.00. A booking is only confirmed once a deposit has been received. A deposit payment of £100.00 per week is payable to secure the booking. All payments are taken through a secure gateway.

3. The balance is due at least 28 days prior to arrival. Should the balance not be received 28 days prior to arrival we are entitled to cancel the booking without notice and relet the caravan.

4. Bookings are taken on a Saturday-to-Saturday basis only. Your caravan will be ready for your arrival from 3:00pm and you are required to vacate by 10:00am on the day of departure.

5. Guaranteeing a specific caravan is possible upon receipt of £10.00 per individual booking payable when booking. We will endeavour to meet your request but reserve the right to change your caravan if required for operational reasons however your request fee will be refunded.

6. Cancellation of your booking within 28 days of arrival will forfeit the monies paid. Deposits, caravan/friend request fees are all non-refundable. You may be charged for the full dates booked if we have not received in writing at least 28 days before arrival notice of the need for cancellation. No refunds will be given if you choose to depart prior to the end of your booked holiday. We strongly advise you to arrange your own holiday insurance.

General

1. These caravans are not suitable for persons with walking difficulties as the approach is by 15 steps from the private parking area.

2. No smoking is permitted within the holiday caravans.

3. Bed linen and bedding such as duvets and pillows will be provided.

4. A £50.00 cash deposit will be required on arrival and will be refunded on your departure day following a check once the caravan has been vacated. Should you not leave the caravan clean and tidy you may forfeit your £50.00 cash deposit and you may be charged for undisclosed damage/repairs required to make good. We appreciate accidents do happen so if there are any accidental breakages please report them to reception for us to replace the broken/damaged item in a timely manner.

5. Only one vehicle to be parked in the Holiday caravan parking area. Extra vehicles to be parked on the appropriate overflow parking area as advised by Reception. All vehicles must clearly display the car pass and you must observe the 5mph limit around the park. All vehicles and units must be clean, fully maintained and in a roadworthy condition. Commercial vehicles will not be admitted to the park.

5a. The electric hook-up supply is 10AMP and is not suitable for charging Hybrid or Electric vehicles. You are prohibited from attempting to charge your vehicle on the pitch and if found doing so a fine of £50.00 will be issued and you will be asked to leave the park.

6. A maximum of 2 small dogs per unit are welcome at the owner’s discretion. You must notify us of the breed of dog/s when booking. You must bring your own dog bed or basket as they are not permitted on the furniture/beds. Dogs must be always kept on a short lead and under control. Please note it is your responsibility to keep your dog within your own garden area as we do not claim to have dog proof fencing. We cannot permit dogs (with exception of assistance dogs) into any of the amenity buildings. However, we do have some dog friendly designated seating inside the restaurant. We reserve the right to ask the owner of any dog which causes a nuisance or threat to remove it immediately. We cannot accept any dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act.

7. Assistance dogs should be always clearly identifiable, and proof of assistance dog status will need to be shown on arrival.

8. A secure Wifi service is available throughout the park provided by Skylight Broadband and is used at your own risk. The user is bound by UK law and Widdicombe Farm accepts no responsibility for any loss or corruption of data or damage to equipment. 9. Visitors are welcome on the park between 10:00am and 10:00pm. To comply with Planning and Health & Safety Regulations all visitors must register with Reception however short their stay. Reception will direct them to the appropriate parking area and issue them with a valid car pass. We do not permit visitors with dogs and as an adult only park, we are unable to permit visitors with children.

10. Changes to our Facilities and Services- Some services and facilities may not be available during low season and you are advised to check with Reception to avoid disappointment. We reserve the right to withdraw the facilities and alter services at any time without notice if necessary, for operational purposes, to comply with the law and legislation or for Health & Safety reasons.

11. Consideration to other park guests should be shown by always keeping noise to an acceptable level, particularly between 11:30pm and 8:00am. This includes when leaving the onsite restaurant or Bar. Radios, TV’s etc should be audible to you but not to your neighbours.

12. The parks terms and conditions are for the benefit of all and we reserve the right to refuse admittance or to terminate your visit without refund of monies paid of any person whose conduct is detrimental to Widdicombe Farm or our guests. Terms and conditions may need to be amended at short notice to comply with government laws and guidance.

13. The park owners shall not be liable to any person visiting the park for any personal injury, loss or damage to property including motorised vehicles however caused or sustained.

14. Data Protection is particularly important to us and your information is stored on computer for the purpose of future bookings with us or for the distribution of our advertising material to you and under no circumstances will it be passed to a third party. Complaints

In the event of there being a problem or dissatisfaction with any matter under our control whilst you are staying with us please report it to Reception immediately. This will give us the opportunity to investigate the matter and resolve any issues where possible so that you have an enjoyable and relaxed stay with us. If you choose to wait until you have returned home before making us aware of an issue, please write to us within 14 days of departure from the park. Please note that no compensation will be considered for complaints first raised after your holiday has ended.
